Great meals, chose from Vegan and Gluten-Free menus, oodles of choice and Maria our waitress was attentive, polite, friendly and prompt. I had the Mediterranean Appetizer and Mediterranean Penne (a theme here)! Glad booked as restaurant packed out from 8ish, there's an upstairs too. Bravissimo!

I had a really good lunch here last Saturday, just me on a terrace table watching the world go by... first time in Poole! Excellent food, with super friendly and efficient service from Lucy and Charlotte who definitely deserve a shout out. Scallops and Chorizo starter, Moules Mariniere main and a shamefully rich Sundae to finish, I could barely stand up.... Great place, highly recommended!!

Great service and lovely food, and for a Monday night it was quite busy, which is great for them! At first the menu came across a bit confusing as it blended a lot of dishes from different cuisines, however the food was lovely and comforting. The shining star was the service, she was friendly and pro-active in attending to the customers needs. Thank you for a lovely meal.

We hosted our Wedding Reception in the beautiful upstairs space of The Oriel. I cant thank the Oriel team enough for their hard work on the day, especially Maria who worked her socks off preparing the upstairs space with all our decorations and ensuring our day ran smoothly. The food was fabulous and highly complimented by our guests. We highly recommend The Oriel if you’re needing a venue to host a reception or party because they will go above and beyond for you. Thank you guys so much for creating a very special day.

Beautiful and relaxing cafe for breakfast. Staff were absolutely lovely. The service really was excellent. Good quality local ingredients. Delicious coffee. Very clean. Loos are immaculate. Seating outside right by the water. Loved it.

Popped in on the off chance while on holiday and we were served by the wonderful Ellie who is clearly a firm favourite with the regular locals - which in my book says a lot Delicious food, fabulous options, peaceful environment, lovely big customer toilet.

We visited for a breakfast stop on Sunday 7th July, were greeted with smiling happy lovely people, and the coffee and breakfast was perfect. Hot, tasty, lovely ingredients delivered quite quickly and served in the painted surroundings of the inside seated area. Love this place, thank you Maria

We booked a table for an 80th Birthday celebration with family and it was perfect! The food was well presented, good portion sizes and delicious. The staff are very motivated and provide excellent customer service. The flexibility to accommodate a large group was appreciated. It was perfect venue to host a family get together and I would highly recommend. Maria in particular goes above and beyond to make the dining experience run smoothly. Thank you to all involved.
